Ecology Hikes

Join us for guided nature hikes designed for students ages 5 through 12th grade. These hikes offer more than just time outdoors. They create opportunities for students to explore, learn, and connect with nature through movement, observation, and hands-on discovery. Along the way, students may observe local plants and wildlife, investigate habitats and ecosystems, and build a deeper understanding of ecology, conservation, and the natural relationships that shape the world around them.

With a relaxed, family-friendly pace, our hikes are designed to be both educational and enjoyable. Routes, length, and difficulty are tailored to the group so that students of different ages and experience levels can participate with confidence. It is a meaningful way to encourage curiosity, support physical activity, and help students experience science in a real and memorable setting.

Proceeds from our hikes also support our in-house conservation fund, which helps make local conservation efforts possible with student participation. Through these experiences, students not only learn about the environment, but also have the opportunity to take part in caring for it in our own region.

Fee: $25/student. Parents & Siblings under 5 may accompany for no additional charge. All proceeds go towards student involved conservation projects.

Schedule:
12:30pm-2:30pm on Fridays
