High School Classes
Our High School classes are designed for students 9th - 12th grade and offer engaging, hands-on opportunities to explore, learn, and create. Each class is carefully adapted to strictly follow A-G Learning requirements. Please read each individual class description carefully for specific details and any important class information.
Math Classes
Math classes meet twice weekly and run throughout the full semester. These courses follow A-G guidelines, making them a strong option for students seeking a college-prep path. Students who participate should plan to register for both the fall and spring semesters. Please be sure to review each class’s About section for important details, including the required textbooks you’ll need to purchase.

Algebra 1

This full-year Algebra 1 course uses the trusted Saxon curriculum to help students build a strong foundation in algebra with clear, step-by-step instruction. Students will learn key concepts like solving equations, working with variables, and graphing in a structured and supportive environment designed to build confidence. Algebra 2

Our full-year Algebra 2 course helps students tackle more advanced concepts with clarity and support. Using the Saxon curriculum, students will work through functions, polynomials, and real-world problem solving in a way that promotes both understanding and retention. Science Classes

A-G Biology

This A–G approved Biology course combines flexible at-home learning with engaging in-person class time. Students watch a guided lecture at home each week, then come to class ready for discussion, collaborative activities, and hands-on labs exploring topics like cells, genetics, and ecosystems.

A-G Chemistry

Our A–G approved Chemistry course follows a similar blended format, pairing at-home video instruction with in-class discussion, problem solving, and labs. Students will explore topics such as atomic structure, chemical reactions, and the nature of matter with strong teacher support throughout the year.

Art Classes
Each five-week middle and high school art segment invites students to deepen their creativity through themed projects inspired by nature, place, and the world around them, using a variety of art mediums.
In these 1.5-hour classes, students will strengthen artistic techniques through hands-on instruction while exploring creative problem-solving, observation, and personal expression. Students are encouraged to take creative risks, refine their skills, and grow in confidence as they create meaningful artwork inspired by the natural world.
Tuition: $200 per segment.

Segment 1: Earth Systems in Art

In this five-week segment, students will create art inspired by the powerful systems that shape our planet. Through landscapes, storm studies, volcano and tectonic projects, watershed art, and texture-based explorations of rocks and minerals, students will use a variety of mediums to investigate Earth’s dynamic processes. Projects will encourage observation, experimentation, and creative interpretation while helping students connect art with earth science.
Segment 2: Geography, Place and Landscape Art

This segment invites students to explore the relationship between art, geography, and a sense of place. Through artistic mapmaking, topographic-inspired drawings, biome studies, and projects based on local parks, trails, watersheds, and landscapes, students will create meaningful work connected to the world around them. Along the way, they will strengthen artistic techniques while developing a deeper appreciation for land, region, and environment.
Segment 3: Wildlife and Scientific Illustration

In this five-week segment, students will combine art and observation as they study animals and the natural world through illustration. Projects may include scientific sketches, habitat-based wildlife compositions, texture studies of feathers, fur, and scales, bird or pollinator artwork, and conservation-themed final pieces. Students will build drawing skills, attention to detail, and confidence as they create artwork inspired by the beauty and diversity of wildlife.
