Here’s What You Need to Know

We’re excited to offer a variety of STEAM-inspired fall classes for students across multiple age groups. Below are answers to some common questions about registration, locations, schedules, and what to expect this semester.

  • Once you choose the appropriate category, you’ll be able to view available classes and complete registration from there.

Be sure to complete one student information form for EACH student. So, if you’re registering two students for the same class, you’ll need to fill the form out twice.

Once registered, be sure to submit your PO with your school if you’re using school funds.

Please note that Submission of a PO does not reserve your students space in any of our programs. Registration through our website is required to guarantee your spot. Thank you for understanding!

  • Unless otherwise specified, classes take place at the Prunedale Youth Center (17880 Moro Rd, Salinas) which is our primary learning space.

Class locations can vary and may include outdoor spaces, partner locations, and other learning sites. In these cases, specific location details will be listed on each individual class page before registration.

  • Cancellations do sometimes happen as we get closer to the start of a class session. If you’d like to be added to the waitlist, please send us a message! If a spot opens up, we’ll contact the next family in line.

  • We are currently an approved vendor with Ocean Grove Charter School and Yosemite Valley Charter School. If you homeschool through either of these charters, you can use your school funds for most of our offerings!

  • We strive to create a supportive environment where students of all learning styles, social levels, and unique needs can thrive.

Because our classes are group-based, we must also prioritize the learning experience and safety of all students. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service if a student's behavior becomes too disruptive for the class as a whole.

Whenever possible, we work with families to find supportive solutions that allow everyone to succeed.

  • Yes, in some cases. If both the parent and teacher feel a higher-level class would be a good fit, students may be able to join an older age-group class. We’re happy to discuss class placement on a case-by-case basis.

  • We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. When notice is given more than 48 hours in advance, families may choose either a refund or a credit toward future services. Late cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable, though exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Learn more in our Terms & Conditions

  • If you’re not sure which class is the best fit or have questions before registering, we’d love to hear from you. Please reach out through our contact page and we’ll be happy to help. You can also email us at Info@owlsteam.com
